Dr. Michael Spano teaches the undergraduate (ISE 417) and the graduate (ISE 519) Database Applications courses in the Industrial Systems & Engineering department at NC State University. This is a design course in the area of Design of Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems using Information Engineering and Database Management Systems techniques. The course covers the basics of data structures, business process modeling, database design, and information retrieval using SQL.
