Géraldine Heilporn is an assistant professor in educational technologies in the Department of Teaching and Learning Studies at the Faculty of Education of Université Laval (Québec, QC, Canada). She conducts research on the use of digital technology in teaching and learning in various educational settings, from secondary school to university. In particular, one of her research interests concerns student engagement in blended or online course modalities, or even in digitally-mediated activities. Her research projects aim to support all students' learning, engagement and inclusion, despite their increasingly diverse needs.
She is a Board member of OTESSA, an association that focuses on technology and openness in education, society and scholarship.
