Joseph Mwangi Wamuga is an educator, institutional leader, and minister with extensive experience in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). He serves as the Principal of Nakuru Training Institute in Kenya, where he champions innovation in digital learning, skills development, and curriculum transformation. With over two decades of experience in education and training, he has led initiatives in e-learning, technology-enabled learning, and youth skills development across Africa.

Joseph holds a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems and Change Management from the University of Manchester (UK) and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from JKUAT (Kenya), alongside professional certifications in technology-enabled learning and competency-based education from international institutions including Queensland University of Technology and Charles Sturt University in Australia. He has been trained by the Commonwealth of Learning in online program facilitation, authentic assessments, and digital pedagogy.
